I had the priviledge of seeing my Lebanese mother always dancing while I was growing up, and she would dance at the mere suggestion of a beat. She would keep time with her hands and feet, using tiny, delicate movements.
When I was a teen, she finally allowed me to take bellydance lessons with a friend of hers from Rhode Island, Megan Patenaude.
I have greatly enjoyed teaching for the past ten years and was thrilled to have lived and taught dance in the Middle East for four years.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona and teach out of the fabulous Al Moro Dance Studio.
